Sorting and Rework (On site or SMR Warehouse)

SMR has proven sorting experience on a variety of process and products and wide list of parts such as:

Electronic (Visual & functional tests for PC boards, radio & cell phones)
Mechanical (Gauging for shatfs, core pins, gears, cases, bolts, studs, springs etc..)
Metal (Laminated, castdie, machined & press cutted parts, etc..)
Plastics (Cases, handles, cords, bags for outdoors tools, etc…)
Harnesses Soldering
Cluster & Radios (Visual & functional for faceplates, chasis, slider, core pins, levering , etc..)

Rework

All rework operations are performed by using the single piece flow concept to avoid matetrial over-handling and damages.

Rework can be done either with special dedicated tooling owned by customer or SMR. Separated charges may apply if dedicated tooling owned by SMR.

Rework operations can be performed either on Customer site or SMR warehouse.

All rework operations are well documented in work instructions and visual aids (as required).

Attribute inspection is performed with qualified and experienced people on quality field taking into account the safety and special customer requirements for protection of product against any type of damages or sensivity by using different safety/esd tools, gloves and special wearing clothes, shoes, straps, etc.
Variable inspection is performed with qualified people and use of reliable equipment and gages as required. All special measurement recommended per customer needs may require dedicated tooling/equipment at customer expense.
QA Supervisory is mandatory when number of inspectors is over 10 per shift.

All CS I/II areas are fully identified with visual board.
All mandatory containment is performed per final customer (GM,DCX,Ford) requirements.
Material Flow and delimited areas are customer-approved to assure the correct identification of certified material
Personnel are well trained on CSI/II containment inspection per automotive CSI/II standards and/or specific customer requirements.
CS I/II results are properly documented per final customer requirement with checklist and I charts or any other specific customer report.
